Edit: Ihr habt zum Teil das Buch schon? Mir hat Amazon heute eine "sensationelle" Mail geschickt: "Wir können Ihnen jetzt den Liefertermin fuer Ihre Bestellung vom April 13 2009 nennen. [...] Voraussichtliches Lieferdatum: Juni 30 2009 - Juli 07 2009." Ich breche gleich in Freudentränen aus. Naja, muss sowieso noch die letzten paar Kapitel von Outcast lesen, nachdem die letzten 3 Wochen lesetechnisch ein Komplettausfall waren.

Ist den bekannt wie lange die Reihe werden wird? Und kann ich die Reihe lesen ohne irgendeine Ahnung von FotJ zu haben?

9 Bücher sind angedacht und ja im Prinzip kannst du es auch so lesen, da die Figuren/Erzähler das meiste eh zusammenfassen und unter uns in der ganzen Legacy of the Force Reihe eh kaum was wirkliches passiert ist, du dir die Sache halt trotzdem verspoilern wirst, wenn einfach mit Fate weitermachst. ^^

Das war von mir jetzt missverständlich.
Ich wollte fragen ob ich die "Lost Tribe of the Sith" eBooks lesen kann, weil die ja eine Art Prolog zu der Reihe bilden. Jetzt sehe ich momentan keinen Sinn darin die FotJ Reihe zu lesen wenn ich noch an der NJO hänge. Machen die LTotS auch so Sinn?

Hoffe ist jetzt klarer was ich meine.

Achso ^^ 8 E-Books sind geplant und ja die kannst du auch so lesen, da sie alle um 5000-1000 vor Yavin spielen und einfach die Entstehung der Kesh Sith und deren Kultur erläutert.

Werden die Geschichten eigentlich nur Bezug auf die FotJ Reihe nehmen?

Da die eBooks bzw. Kurzgeschichten mehrere tausend Jahre vor FotJ spielen ist mit keinem Bezug in diese Richtung zu rechnen. Die Richtung ist eher umgekehrt, FotJ nimmt Bezug auf die eBooks.

Im Großen und Ganzen ein recht ordentliches Buch wenn man die Punkte die ich schon in FotJ kritisiert habe (

warum Menschen und nicht Sith als der wichtigste

) ignoriert und vom Ende absieht. Da hätte ich mir doch mehr erhofft, weil die Geschichte über weite Teil doch recht gut war. Am Ende kam es mir so vor als wollte man die Geschichte einfach zu Ende bringen anstatt, noch ein paar Geschichten zu erzählen was meiner Meinung nach viel passender gewesen wäre. So kam dann alles leider einfach zu abrupt und meiner Meinung nach sehr Erzwungen zum Ende. Sonst war es recht interessant die Entwicklung in kurzen Happen über die Jahrtausende zu verfolgen auch wenn nicht alle Happen mich begeistert haben.

Die altertümliche Welt hat mir mit ihren Eigenarten recht gut gefallen (wo sie vorhanden war), ich füllte mich wieder irgendwie an den Stil der Tales of the Jedi erinnert der ja leider viel zu sehr ignoriert wird,

besonders die militarisierten Alanciar und ihr Kampf gegen die Luftschiffe der Lost Tribe Sith.
