I recieved first issue of star wars Exiles in Preview format. I was very honored to get first issue and have chance to review issue.
Scott Allie is doing writting for that series. I believe Exiles is up to issue six. Scott sent me Preview copy last Fall.
Ab Novemer soll "Infinities: Return of the Jedi" erscheinen!!
Trying to solve the Case of the Frozen Scoundrel, the Mighty Bear Clan follow their clues to Jabba's palace and happen to show up at exactly the same time the Droids do. Skeeter, youngest (and cutest) of the Bear Clan, is immediately attracted to R2-D2's shiny, polished shell, and the rest of the junior Jedi get all up in C-3PO's face as he negotiates with the Palace Door bot.
Buzzing around the Astromech like an annoying, well, skeeter, pushing buttons, pulling panels, the tyke accidentally triggers R2's lightsaber launcher, shooting the weapon into that round ball that 3PO's trying to talk to, destroying it.
Angry, R2 puts the shocker to the kid, but accidentally overdoes the voltage and leaves the little rug rat an adorable, albeit dead, smoking heap. The rest of the Bear Clan ignite their mini-sabers and go for 3PO looking for some payback (he has arms that can be cut off, and limb-chopping is only as far as they've gone in their Jedi training).
Meanwhile, alerted to the commotion outside, Jabba releases a full platoon of Gamorrean Guards. The Guards quickly circle the kids and, with their newly sharpened axes, start chopping. And then things get really crazy...
Jeremy's obviously working off the old version of the outline.
In the latest version, the Mighty Bear Clan doesn't even make an appearance. Instead, things go pretty much as they do in the film, right up to the point where Han is dumped into the sarlacc pit. When Lando and Chewie try to rescue him, they end up in the pit as well. Chomp, chomp, chomp.
The droids jump off the barge, and Luke and Leia make it to the skiff. But Jabba's barge crew gets off a lucky shot just before the barge explodes, and the skiff is destroyed.
The only ones left alive are Artoo and Threepio -- and they're hopelessly stuck in the sand.
Weeks pass, then months. Finally, the two droids are discovered by the tribe of jawas that have taken up residence in Jabba's palace. The droids are scrapped, and the pieces eventually sold to Watto.
By this time, Watto has a new slave boy, and the kid begins the task of rebuilding Threepio -- only this time with an assertive, manly personality. This eventually leads to the creation of Terminators, sealing the fate of the Earth and all who live on it.
Clearly, this new outline still needs some work...
To answer your question, Wedge: No. We're not gonna tell. Sworn to secrecy, and all that. Still, we'd love to hear any speculation you folks have. the wilder the better. C'mon, hit us with your best shot!
Maybe you could include a storyline about how Jeremy has time to post on the message boards from home, when he should be here at the office...
