So nun hat selbst Kurt Wimmer seine Hoffnung im Film verloren , da er keine Rechte mehr am Film hat. Dazu hier ein Art Interview das auf ACIN war.
Also ich muss sagen mir tut Wimmer richtig leid. Er hat so viel in den Film gesteckt und dann wird er so verstümmelt, dass er ihn wohl selbst nicht mehr wieder erkennen wird.
One of the head guys over at aint it cool news talked to Wimmer earlier in the week and he said wimmer said,

"Since I haven't seen it, I can't comment on it."
I can tell you that when I spoke to Wimmer earlier in the week to ask him if it was screening at all before it opened, he responded by telling me that it's not his film. It's not his score, it's not his edit, it's not his sound FX or his visual FX. The film is evidently a total misfire thanks to Screen Gems, and Wimmer seemed heartbroken over how bad it is.
Take that for what it's worth."

God when will they stop with these cheap cop outs! As soon as the movie bombs in the box-office, suddenly they disavow any connection with the filming! I wonder if he'd say the same IF the movie would be a major success and rotten tomato wouldn't have a lynch-picnic on it.
Anyway... if that's indeed the case (and i sure hope so, cause it sure as hell ain't got Kurt's signature on it), then he should do what any normal person would do - sue the balls out of ScreenGems and get it straight on record.

Sue them for what?
They paid for it. If they choose to *beep* it up, there's little or nothing the filmmaker can do about it. This happens all the time.
And it's not a cop-out. Wimmer's been running silent on this one for almost a year.
