Großartig interessieren tut mich die Serie auch nicht, aber würde sich gut unterm Weihnachtsbaum machen :kaw:
Hoffentlich kommt die Box auch in deutsch.
 
also ich konnte der Serie mit young Indy nichts abgewinnen... und werde es wohl auch aud DVD nicht tun... aber japp das Coverdesign hat Stil

Disc One: My First Adventure
While on an archaeological dig in Egypt's Valley of the Kings, Indy uncovers an ancient mummy and fresh corpse. With the help of T.E. Lawrence, the legendary Lawrence of Arabia, Indy solves an intriguing murder mystery only to find himself thrust right back into danger when he is kidnapped by slave-trading brigands. Dragged on a terrifying journey across the burning sands of North Africa to the slave markets of Marrakech, Indy finds that he must rely on his courage and wits to survive the brutal ordeal.

Exotic wildlife of another kind await him in Paris when he accompanies a young Norman Rockwell on a rollicking tour through the bohemian world of Parisian fine art. Wild parties, wilder women and artist temperament are on full display as Pablo Picasso and Edgar Degas clash over their contrasting styles of painting, while painting the town red at a gaudy late-night soiree.

Romantic complications of another kind turn up in Florence, Italy, when Indy and his mother meet the great opera composer Giacomo Puccini. Realizing that there's no place like home, Indy rejoins his mom and dad and travels with his father to an isolated Greek monastery perched high on the peak of a mountain. The arduous journey, including a harrowing trip in a tiny cage up a thousand-foot mountainside, brings father and son closer together.

Surrounded by supplicants and hangers-on, Krishnamurti struggles to have faith in himself and to fulfill the destiny decreed for him by his worshippers. In the process he shows Indy just how strong the power of faith can be. Indy's mother also learns a lesson in faith and trust when she must rely on some poor Chinese villagers and their traditional medical techniques to save the life of her son who lies perilously close to death with typhoid fever.

To keep him from getting into any more trouble, Indy is sent to visit his Aunt in New Mexico. While there, he is kidnapped by Pancho Villa and swept up into the Mexican Revolution. Chaotic, free-wheeling border towns, a "Wild Bunch" style train robbery and a colorful barroom encounter with a young George Patton make for thrilling entertainment in this action-packed movie.

Ich habe die Serie leider noch nie gesehen, würde aber schon gerne mal einen Blick riskieren. Auch wenn sie einen nicht so guten Ruf geniesst.
Wenn sie bei uns veröffentlicht wird leih ich sie mir mal aus der Videothek aus.

Die "Young-Indy"- Serie genießt nicht zu Unrecht diesen üblen Ruf. Unglaubwürdiger Indy- Darsteller, miese Story. Einfach irgendein Murks, den man am besten nicht mit dem reinen Indy-Mythos in Verbindung bringen sollte.

Die Serie genießt einen schlechten Ruf, weil sie von den gleichen Leuten schlecht gemacht wurde, die auch mit Genuss die PT schlecht machen ;)

Die Serie hat mit die höchsten Production Values für eine Serie überhaupt, ist von der technischen Seite und vom Produktionsaufwand fast unschlagbar und bietet perfektes Edutainment mit vielen interessanten Ansatzpunkten wenn man sich mit der Geschichte des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts auseinandersetzen will.

Wenn die Box auch bei uns rauskommt, werde ich sie mir auf jeden Fall holen :)

Ich mochte "Young Indy" und werde mir die Box wenn sie hier erscheint auf jeden Fall zulegen. Zwar hat es wirklich nicht viel mit Indiana Jones so wie ich ihn kenne und mag zu tun aber unterhaltend ist die Serie allemal und Sean Patrick Flanery ein toller Schauspieler!
 
Hab die serie bisher auch noch nicht gesehn und steh dem ganzen noch etwas kritisch gegenüber, aber hm ich mag flanery der war echt klasse in boondock saints.
Daher isses vlt mal ne überlegung wert, oder ich leih es mir mal aus seh mir bischen was davon an und entscheid mich dann ^^
 
Das ist jetzt vielleicht für euch ein blöder Witz, aber die Frage ist ernst gemeint. Wie viele Indiana Jones Filme gibt es überhaupt?
 
Wenn Du allein die Kinofilme damit meinst, hielte ich es schon für einen dummen Witz -> 3 Stück (+ 1 im nächsten Jahr).

Vielleicht aber willst Du auch nur wissen, wieviele Folgen der Young-Indy-Serie da noch hinzukommen..... Da muss ich aber leider passen.

Auf den MTV Music Awards wurde nun ofiziell der Titel ds 4. Indy Films bestätigt.

Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull​

Zwar IMO nicht die beste Wahl...jedoch klingt das ganze, wenn man es aufsagt doch recht melodisch und passt ins Klangbild der anderen 3 Teile...

Da ich spoilertechnisch keine Ahnung hab, was von der Story schon bekannt ist und was nicht, weiß ich natürlich nicht, ob Indy im viertel Teil in diesem Königreich sein "grabreuberisches" Unwesen treibt. Sollte dem so sein...wäre der Titel natürlich mehr als perfekt ;)

Zuerst war ich vom Titel ja etwas enttäuscht, aber nach dem ich ihn jetzt 10 min. lang aufgesagt habe hab ich mich an ihn gewöhnt.:D
Zudem seh ich das wie Laubi, lieber einen scheiss Titel aber dafür dann einen super Film!:)
 
Der Titel gefällt mir und gut von der Zunge gehen tut er auch.
Letztenedes wird man aber sowieso erst nach dem Film beurteilen können ob der Titel jetzt passt oder nicht. Aber da mache ich mir eigentlich keine großen Sorgen. :)
 
Ich hab es doch gewusst. Kein City of Gods hier. :)
Ich liebe diesen Titel, der hört sich wirklich nach Abenteuer an:
"After Raiders of the lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the temple of doom and Indiana Jones and the last crusade now comes: Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull!" :D

Also sind/ist die/der Kristallschädel der McGuffin. Da kann man sicher was draus machen ohne dass es gleich ein Abklatsch von "The Phantom" wird. Ich bin gespannt auf mehr News, die Tastatur habe ich schon vollgesabbert.
