Die Wartezeit ist vorbei: RTL II hat nun die dritte «Battlestar Galactica»-Staffel angekündigt. Wann der vierte und letzte Lauf kommt, ist aber noch unklar.

Die Münchener Fernsehstation RTL II setzt die amerikanische Science-Fiction-Serie «Battlestar Galactica» im Free-TV fort. Nachdem man schon die ersten zwei Staffeln in der Primetime aufgeführt hat, folgt ab Februar nun die dritte Edition. Diese wurde im Auftrag von SciFi produziert und feierten ihre Erstaufführung zwischen dem 6. Oktober 2006 und dem 25. März 2007.

Die 20 Folgen umfassende Staffel wird ab dem 18. Februar 2009, mittwochs um 22.05 Uhr, aufgeführt und ersetzt somit «Smallville». Von der Superman-Serie hat man dann die gesamte Staffel ausgestrahlt, ob das Format noch einmal in die Primetime zurückkehrt, ist derzeit noch nicht bekannt. Das Remake des 1978 gestarteten Klassikers «Battlestar Galactica» hat unter anderem zwei Emmys für die besten Spezialeffekte gewonnen und war in den vergangenen Jahren in vielen weiteren Kategorien nominiert.



In der dritten Staffel wird das Leben der Menschen unter der zylonischen Herrschaft auf New Caprica gezeigt – zwischen resignierter Kollaboration und entschiedenen Widerstand. Im weiteren Verlauf des dritten Laufs werden die Menschen einen neuen bewohnbaren Planeten entdecken, doch die Dinge werden komplizierter, als die Zylonen auf den Planten folgen.

Klar gab es die dort, v.a. die Final Five waren ja in "früheren" Leben dort, sie werden also irgendwie immer wieder "geboren". Wer nun die Bomben warf, ist wohl noch unklar, wir werden das wohl erst später erfahren. Sind eben die neuen Fragen. Adama sagte zwar in seiner Ansprache, es wären dort Menschen gewesen, aber ich denke das war entweder nur eine Notlüge, um Mut zu machen, oder nicht die ganze Warheit. Selbst die Zylonen haben ja gesagt, sie kannten diese Modelle nicht und wissen daher nicht was es damit auf sich hat. Aber anhand eben der FF ist wohl klar, dass zumindest sie da lebten und es liegt also nahe, dass der 13. Stamm wirklich Zylonen waren. Vielleicht wurden sie ja von den anderen 12 Stämmen verfolgt und ausgelöscht, vielleicht aber auch was vollkommen anderes. Wir werden sehen

Ich denke, weil sie wie alle verzweifelt war. Man sah doch ganz gut, dass die gesamte Besatzung deprimiert war und nicht mehr ein und aus wusste (Adama wollte sich auch killen, überall sitzen verzweifelte Leute rum, Prügeleien, etc.). Ich meine, die haben so viele Hoffnungen in die Erde gesetzt, all die Strapazen, die Opfer, alles war nun umsonst. Adama oder Rosslin sagte doch auch, dass man lieber hätte in den Kolonien bleiben und kämpfen sollen. Nun haben sie nichts mehr, keine neue Heimat, keine Hoffnung. Denn ehrlich gesagt gebe ich nicht allzuviel auf die Vision von Saul Tigh, der einen schweren Hang zum Alkoholismus hat und noch immer bedauert, dass er seine eigene Frau getötet hat.
