Luke: "But what if this Obi-Wan comes looking for him?"
Owen: "He won't, I don't think he exists any more. He died about the same time as your father."
Tarkin: "The Imperial Senate will no longer be of any concern to us. The Emperor has dissolved the council permanently. The last remnants of the Old Republic have been swept away."
Darth Vader: "Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed. The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force."

Senator Palpatine: "Our best choice would be to push for the election of a stronger Supreme Chancellor."
Senator Palpatine: "I assure you, and they will elect in a new Chancellor, a strong Chancellor"
Capt. Panaka : "Your Highness, Senator Palpatine has been nominated to succeed Valorum as Supreme Chancellor."
Senator Palpatine : "A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one. I promise, Your Majesty, if I am elected, I will bring democracy back to the Republic."
Qui-Gon : "He is the chosen one... he will... bring balance... train him!"
Obi-Wan: "Yes, my master!"
Obi-Wan: "The boy is dangerous...they all sense it. Why can't you?"
Qui-Gon: "You are much wiser than Iam, Obi-Wan. I foresee you will become a great Jedi Knight."
Obi-Wan Kenobi: "Master Yoda, I gave Qui-Gon my word. I will train Anakin."
